Paraway purchased Kalmeta in 2009, and the property runs breeding and trade cattle, with about 10 employees on the station. Kalmeta operates as the outstation for Clonagh Station, and is located 140km North west of Julia creek. The outstation works closely with the main station which is 80km away towards Cloncurry.

What we expect from you:

The Cook / All Rounder in Kalmeta Station role is suited to someone who is a great team player, with a focus on:

• Responsible for overseeing the kitchen, planning and preparing meals for staff and visitors (approximately 8-10 people)
• Managing food stock
• General duties around the station, including cleaning and gardening
• Helping maintain the stock the recreation club
• Light domestic work
