Ventia is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team at the Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre.
This role offers stable morning shifts and is ideal for someone seeking work that fits around family, study, or other daytime commitments.
Position Details
Role: Prison Cleaner
Contract: Casual, with potential to become permanent after a few months
Start: As soon as possible
Pay: $32.31 per hour + super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 AM – 09:30 AM
Location: Malmsbury, VIC
What You Will Do
Clean and sanitise offices, bathrooms, workshops, and communal areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, stairs, and surfaces
Maintain hygiene and safety standards
Complete occasional bio‑cleaning tasks

What You Need
Reliable vehicle and valid driver licence
Ability to kneel, lift, and complete physical tasks for the entire shift
National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
Employee Working With Children Check
Ability to pass a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol tests
