The Salvation Army Port Augusta Corps is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner to support the cleanliness, safety and presentation of our buildings and facilities. This permanent part-time role is 7 hours per week, with shifts to be completed within ordinary hours, Monday to Friday.
You will play an important part in ensuring our spaces remain welcoming, hygienic and safe for community members, volunteers and staff. Pay is in accordance with the Miscellaneous Award – Level 2.
Clean all areas of the buildings in line with the cleaning schedule
Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment
Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and kept in good working order
Follow all TSA WHS policies, procedures and relevant legislation
Report hazards, incidents and maintenance issues promptly
Ensure security of buildings, including locking up and arming alarms as required
Experience in the cleaning industry (preferred)
Knowledge of safe work practices and WHS requirements
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical capacity to undertake all cleaning duties
