Prison Cleaner Role

Location: Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, Ravenhall VIC 

Pay: from $32.31 per hour plus penalties and super 
Start date: ASAP 
Contract: Casual (opportunity to become permanent)
Shift times: Monday to Sunday, 09:00-13:00 or 16:00-20:00
Availability: Flexible availability required across all days and either shift

What you will be doing 

Cleaning offices, common areas, workshops and bathrooms 
Vacuuming, mopping and maintaining floors 
Wiping down high-touch surfaces 
Supporting safe and hygienic spaces 
Completing bio-cleans when required (including blood and bodily fluids)

What you will need 

National Police Check 
Comfortable with physical work (lifting, bending, being on your feet for the full shift) 
Comfortable with bio-clean tasks 
Willing to complete a medical and drug and alcohol test 
Reliable, respectful and able to follow procedures 
Cleaning experience not essential
