Cleaner

Part- time position available

We are seeking a reliable part-time cleaner with aged care experience. Should be available between 7:00am and 2:00pm. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, knowledge of hygiene standards, and the ability to work independently.

About the Location

Aegis Amberley has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 111 residents in four wings.

Spearwood is a suburb surrounded by wetlands and the sea. We have used this water connection to name each of the areas or wings after the islands along the coast. From north to south we have Rottnest, Garden, Carnac and Penguin. Aegis Amberley is an 'ageing in place' facility and both High and Low care accommodation is available in all areas. Garden offers specialist secure dementia care. Penguin offers High Care Extra Services.

About You

You should ideally be an empathetic person who:

Enjoys interacting with the elderly.

• Can work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required, and as part of the team.
• Is reliable, proactive with a high attention to cleaning details.

You will need to have:

• Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and commercial cleaning operations, including the safe use of chemicals.
• Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
