Summer is coming, and we’re gearing up for a busy season at Anglers Tavern!

Located on the banks of the Maribyrnong River, Anglers Tavern is a much-loved Melbourne local that has recently been refurbished, bringing together a modern bistro, sports bar, sprawling beer garden and plenty of spaces for locals to eat, drink and enjoy themselves. With a busy calendar of events, live sport, weekend trade and sunny days by the river, summer is set to be a big one.

We’re looking for Casual Chefs to join our kitchen team and help us through the upcoming summer period, with the potential for ongoing work.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef looking to pick up extra shifts, or an up-and-coming Chef wanting to build their experience in a busy, high-volume pub kitchen. You’ll be working across a menu featuring quality pub classics, local favourites, pizzas and seasonal share plates.

• Previous commercial kitchen experience

• A reliable and hardworking attitude

• Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Pride in food quality, consistency and presentation

• Availability across weekends, evenings and key summer periods

• Chefs who are ready to jump in and be part of the team
