Dublin Docks Tavern is seeking a passionate and qualified Chef to join our busy kitchen team. Working in our fast-paced bistro, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing service lines, and maintaining strict food safety standards.

To be successful, you must hold relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent) and have full availability to work a flexible, rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays. Prior experience in a high-volume, bistro-style pub is a major bonus, but strong technical skills, speed, and a great team attitude are essential. A day in the life of a Chef:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
• Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
• Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard

About you:

• You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
• You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
