Salary: $68,865 – $85,000 (depending on experience and skill set)

Lasseters Hotel Casino is seeking passionate and skilled Chefs and Cooks to join our dynamic hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple outlets within our property, delivering high-quality culinary experiences for our guests. With diverse venues including restaurants, bars, the hotel, casino, and Convention Centre, this role offers variety, creativity, and career progression.
About the RolePrepare and cook high-quality menu items in line with venue standards
Assist with menu execution, food prep, and plating during service
Maintain high standards of food presentation, hygiene, and safety
Contribute to stock management, ordering, and waste minimisation
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Support kitchen leadership with daily operations
Uphold all WHS, food safety, and compliance requirements
Atleast one year experience as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and evening
