About the Role

Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes is seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a childcare setting, preparing nutritious meals for children, and being part of a supportive and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and preparing healthy, balanced meals in line with dietary guidelines
• Catering for children with allergies and specific dietary requirements
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
• Managing food ordering, stock rotation, and kitchen budgets
• Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (childcare experience highly regarded)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of nutrition and safe food handling practices
• Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations
• A positive, team-focused attitude
