The Breakfast Creek Hotel is hiring for multiple Chef positions to join our iconic Brisbane team! We are looking for  someone to drive high-volume production specifically for functions and events, and a Section Chef to master the line in our busy bistro.

These roles require trade-qualified professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in culinary consistency. Good availability is essential, and candidates must be available to work weekends as part of a rotating roster across days, nights and public holidays. A day in the life of a Chef:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
• Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
• Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard

About you:

• You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
• You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
