We are looking for passionate, caring, and highly organised Catering Assistants (Kitchen Hand) to join our team on a Casual basis in Chipping Norton! Working closely with the Executive Chef Manager you will be responsible for: The preparation and service of high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents on-site. Food preparation, basic cooking, food presentation and plating, and food delivery/service to dining areas. Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that residents receive a warm welcome, individualised attention, and responsive service. Complying with all food and safety requirements as regulated and scheduled. Assisting with stock control, rotation of stock, and receipting deliveries. Contributing to a harmonious and cooperative team culture based on mutual respect and trust. The successful applicants will display: A great attitude and willingness to learn new skills. A friendly personality to greet all residents and their families with a smile. Previous experience in food preparation within a commercial kitchen, preferably in an aged care or health services environment. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts AM/PM weekdays and weekends. Compliance with required Food and Safety Standards and relevant legislation. Good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service excellence. Desirable: Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent qualification desirable.
