• Salary   WHA-2    $1,172.45 - $1,184.46  per week p.a. (pro rata) + super + salary packaging
• Permanent part-time working 18.62 hours per week 
• 7-day roster.   Annual Leave Reliever required to work AM and PM rosters.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you help deliver a welcoming, high quality food service. You manage key service areas, support smooth meal flow and keep standards high. You work closely with the Section Manager and help new starters feel confident from day one.

• Prepare salads, sandwiches and hot breakfast items
• Run meal service, update meal lists and reheat frozen meals
• Manage stock, ingredients and store areas
• Open, secure and set up service areas
• Operate tills and handle cashier duties
• Support and guide new team members

About You

You enjoy being part of a busy food service team and take pride in quality, care and teamwork. You bring a positive approach and follow direction to keep service running smoothly.

•  Clear verbal and written communication skills
•  Confident with numbers and basic calculations
•  Work well with diverse teams and customers
•  Follow written and verbal instructions
•  Commit to quality service and meeting timeframes
• Support patient care with essential pantry services every day
• Work in a team-focused, supportive healthcare environment
