The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised OOSH Cook in Freshwater to support a busy service catering for up to 250 children.

This role focuses on the preparation of afternoon tea, ensuring meals are nutritious, well-presented, and prepared in line with dietary requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen and completing all washing up duties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who holds a Food Safety Supervisor certificate and is confident managing a high-volume kitchen environment independently.

Who We’re Looking For

To be successful, you will:

• Hold a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (essential)
• Have experience in a commercial or childcare/OOSH kitchen
• Be confident preparing food for large groups (high-volume experience highly regarded)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergy management
• Be organised, efficient, and able to work independently

Your Role

• Prepare and serve afternoon tea for up to 250 children
• Ensure all meals meet dietary and allergy requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
• Complete all cleaning and washing up duties
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Communicate effectively with service staff
