Casual Barista - Art Gallery of NSW Cafe

The Fresh Collective is currently seeking passionate Casual Barista All-rounders to join their team at the Gallery Cafe at The Art Gallery of NSW's. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about coffee and have a strong desire to provide exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

About the role

• Make coffees with strong latte art
• Take orders and enter in POS
• Provide a high-quality service to guests
• Work as an integral part of the team
• 20 to 25 hrs/week across Monday to Sunday
• Day shifts only except for Wednesdays when the gallery closes at 8pm
• Essential: Be available on Wednesday evenings and weekends. 
• Hourly rate: Mon-Fri at $33.85 | Sat at $40.62| Sun at $47.39 per hour plus super

About You

• Ideally 6 months+ Barista experience in a fast-paced environment, smaller cafe environment or kiosk
• Knowledge and passion in making all types of espresso coffee
• Ability to dial in grinders, maintain consistency during a busy burst.
• Able to handle a variety of hands-on tasks: coffee, food service, cashier
• Able to work both independently and within a team
• Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• Hold valid NSW RSA
• Valid full working rights in Australia
