We’re now looking for highly capable, self-managed baristas who take pride in their skills and want to work in a performance-driven, quality-focused environment. 

About the Role 

We are looking for strong, experienced Baristas to join our Melbourne team, across both our established Collingwood café and newly open Freshwater café. 

This is a barista-first role. While you’ll support across the floor when needed, your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional coffee and maintaining high technical standards on bar. 

We have full-time and casual opportunities available, within cafés that operate with a focused seasonal menu, cashless systems, and a strong emphasis on workflow, consistency, and team culture. Our cafés operate Monday to Saturday, 7:30am to 2:30pm, with a small seasonal menu.

A typical day might look like: 

• Dialing in and maintaining espresso to Allpress standards 

• Producing high-quality coffee consistently during peak trade 

• Managing your section with confidence and efficiency 

• Engaging professionally with customers at the bar 

• Supporting service flow between bar and floor 

• Running food and drinks when  

• Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organisation 

• Contributing to a calm, accountable, and positive team environment 

 To Nail This Role You’ll Need 

• 2+ years’ experience as a specialty coffee barista 

• Strong technical ability across espresso, milk, and workflow 

• Proven consistency in high-volume, quality-driven environments 

• High levels of self-management and reliability 

• A strong sense of ownership over your section and standards 

• Genuine passion for coffee and continual improvement 

• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills 

• Willingness to support broader café operations when needed
