Part-Time, approx. 7:00 am - 1:30 pm, Monday – Friday (Pro-rata, Term time only) 

(Potential for casual hours also) 

Start date: 20 April 2026

About your Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista and Canteen Assistant to join our team, to assist with our brand-new staff café space. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality espresso coffee and beverages.
  • Deliver exceptional, warm customer service to our school community.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic café area.
  • Handle POS transactions accurately.
  • Assist with light food service or restocking as needed. 
  • Assist in the school canteen with student orders, as required.


Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in proven barista skills (preferred).
  • Experience working in a school canteen environment.
  • The ability to work quickly under pressure during busy morning rushes.
  • Friendly, energetic, and professional with great communication skills.
  • Punctual and committed to maintaining a consistent service schedule. 
  • Food handling certificate and barista training are preferred.
