This is your chance to lead a dedicated team in maintaining the beauty and safety of Stirling’s iconic beaches. You’ll be hands-on, operating specialised equipment, supporting your team, and making a visible impact every day. If you enjoy working outdoors, leading by example, and keeping our coastline clean and safe—this is the role for you.

 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead daily beach cleaning operations
  • Operate beach cleaning vehicles and equipment and machinery, tractor with beach rake, rear loader rubbish truck, 4WD utility and buggy
  • Allocate and supervise team tasks
  • Maintain vehicles and conduct pre-start checks
  • Monitor and report site safety issues
  • Communicate via two-way radio
  • Assist with rostering and shift coverage
  • Act in Team Leader role when required
  • Ability to work a seven day rotating roster (regular weekend work - 2 weekends per month)

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping our beaches clean and safe. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Year 10 certificate or equivalent
  • HR class driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid and Police Clearance
  • Ability to operate beach cleaning equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and early shifts
  • Experience supervising teams and contractors
  • Proactive approach to task completion
