Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences? We are looking for enthusiastic and professional Section Waiters/Waitresses to join our Food and Beverage team at Pastore, Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery’s signature modern Italian restaurant. If you enjoy engaging with guests, working in a fast paced environment and being part of a friendly and supportive team, this role is for you.

What you will be doing

• Provide warm, attentive and professional service that reflects our five star standard
• Greet and seat guests, take orders and serve food and beverages with care and efficiency
• Support the bar and kitchen teams at Pastore to ensure smooth and seamless service throughout the day
• Engage with guests in meaningful ways, remembering names, preferences and special requests
• Work as part of a dynamic team of Waitstaff to create memorable dining experiences
• Assist with setup and pack down of dining areas, ensuring excellent presentation and hygiene standards
• Share your knowledge of Pastore’s modern Italian menu, wine pairings and daily specials with confidence and enthusiasm
• Make thoughtful suggestions and upsell items that enhance the guest’s meal and overall experience
• Be empowered to go above and beyond, surprising and delighting guests with genuine gestures and personalised service

Hourly Pay rates:

• Mon to Fri: $25.85 (+ $2.81 evening loading after 7pm)
• Saturday: $32.31
• Sunday: $38.78
• Public Holidays: $58.16

Qualifications

What we are looking for

• A current RSA Certificate
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
• Experience as a Waiter, Waitress or in general Waitstaff roles preferred
• Availability to work across a 7 day roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with guests
• A team player who thrives in a fast paced and collaborative environment
• Great attention to detail and pride in high standards of presentation and service
• Reliability and consistency so that guests enjoy the same high quality experience every time
