About the Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of a high-quality food and beverage service by supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen and ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment. As a Catering Assistant Kitchenhand Cleaner Level 2, you’ll take on responsibilities beyond the basics, playing an important part in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and care that directly support the health and wellbeing of consumers, staff and visitors.

Your day-to-day duties will include cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, appliances and surfaces, washing dishes, pots and utensils, and keeping cool rooms and drains in top condition. You’ll also help maintain a safe and tidy workplace by sweeping, mopping and removing rubbish, contributing to a positive team environment where reliability, attention to detail and pride in your work are highly valued.
