About your role
As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you'll provide efficient management and operations of the cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring a safe, high-quality cleaning and laundry service to residents and guests in compliance with legislative requirements and ASNZS Standards for Laundry and Cleaning Practices. This role is Full-time, 76 hours a fortnight. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all compliance aspects of cleaning and laundry services
  • Provide leadership and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team
  • Responsible for managing and working within budgets for cleaning, laundry and labour costs ensuring budgeted hours are achieved
  • Manage the ordering, delivery, stock control and storage processes for housekeeping services
  • Communicate regularly with residents and committees to ensure the housekeeping services meet their needs, and issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve operational processes and practices
  • Lead and manage Bolton Clarke’s Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) goals

What do we need from you?

  • Qualifications: Certificate IV Level Qualification in Hospitality or possess the knowledge, skills and experience deemed to be the equivalent by Bolton Clarke
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial housekeeping
  • Experience in organisation and management ability
  • Substantial communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Evidence of Australian work rights
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
  • 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
