We are currently looking for three full-time Catering Assistants to join the Spotless team at the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre in Northam, WA. As a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, Spotless is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, culturally diverse meals that support the overall health and well-being of individuals within the centre.
We’re seeking dedicated Catering Assistants who take pride in delivering high-quality food and service.
Assist in assembling, preparing, and producing meals as directed by the Chef Manager or Head Chef.
Maintain cleanliness across food preparation and dining areas, including equipment and utensils.
Adhere to the HACCP Food Safety Plan by upholding food safety and hygiene standards, completing all documentation accurately and on time.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure it remains clean and well-maintained.
What you’ll bring
Certificate II in Kitchen Operations (or higher)
Valid Food Safety Certificates
Prior experience in a commercial kitchen setting
Sound knowledge of HACCP Food Safety guidelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
