We are seeking a highly motivated Full Time – Food & Beverage Team Leader (Senior Lounge Runner) to join our welcoming team providing friendly and efficient food and beverage service that meets the guests’ expectations at Canberra Qantas Lounges by Accor!

Job Description

This role is based within our Qantas Club, Business Lounge and Chairmans' Lounge at Canberra Airport. Our Food & Beverage Team Leader (Senior Lounge Runner) will bring their passion for service to our three lounge spacing They will be dedicated to creating a welcoming and inviting pre-flight experience for our guest.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead by example providing efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service to all guest
• Assist with supervision of front of house team to support the Duty Manager
• Initial point of contact for guest and team challenges
• Communicate directly with front of house team and management to provide them with all relevant information
• Maintain and improve quality service in our lounges
• Ensure all team members are following Accor and Qantas policies
• Proactively promote a safe workplace

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for hospitality and proven ability to lead a team working in a fast-paced environment.

Other requirements

• You must have Australian working rights to be considered for this full-time role
• Have a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
• Must have full availability across a 7-day rotating roster, including public holidays
• Ability to pass a federal police background security check
