Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Food & Beverage to lead our Food and Beverage Department. Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive innovation and ensure exceptional guest experiences while achieving commercial success. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with a passion for creativity, high performance and building strong teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction across food and beverage outlets including in-room dining and events.
• Support with the opening of Hyde Melbourne Place’s new Eastern Mediterranean rooftop venue
• Develop and execute F&B concepts and activations aligned with the Hyde Brand
• Lead, mentor and develop a passionate team, creating a culture of excellence, engagement, and innovation.
• Drive financial performance through effective cost control and revenue generation strategies
• Oversee quality assurance, compliance and service standards to deliver world-class hospitality experiences.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to create unique activations that enhance the Hyde experience.
• Maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, ensuring sustainability and ethical sourcing wherever possible.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Director, Multi-Outlet Manager or senior F&B leader in a luxury hotel or lifestyle venue.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability.
• A creative and trend-savvy leader with a passion for food, beverage and guest experiences.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
