About the Role:
As a Cook at RSL LifeCare, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious and wholesome meals for residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in meal preparation and service to ensure high-quality food is provided.
• Preparing meals in accordance with dietary requirements, including modified diets and special meal requests.
• Ensuring food safety compliance (HACCP) and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
• Supporting kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and food storage management.
• Working collaboratively with the food services team to provide a positive dining experience.

About You:

• Previous experience in bulk cooking, preferably in aged care or hospitality.
• A passion for food and creating nutritious meals that enhance residents' well-being.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience and teamwork
• Knowledge and experience in Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance.
• The ability to work efficiently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing quality service.

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance - mandatory
