Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique environment as a Cook at Department of Defence – Campbell Park Cafe This role is suitable for candidates that enjoy bulk cooking with a passion for quality, flavour, and presentation. You’ll get full training and support while working in a dynamic and fun working environment.

The Position:

• Full-time role in a busy café, preparing high-quality breakfast, lunch, light meals, and café-style specials.
  • Assist with daily food preparation including sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and hot menu items.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen while complying with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver fast, consistent service during peak periods.

The Person:
• Proven experience as a cook in a café or fast-paced food service environment (qualification not required).
• Solid knowledge of food safety, allergen management, and HACCP practices.
• Able to handle a variety of tasks from prep through to service with strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure during busy service times.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering great customer experiences.

Candidates will be required to undertake an Australian national police check. This will be paid for by the Company.
