Are you passionate about food preparation? St Vincent’s Hospital, Lismore has the role for you in our Catering Team. We are seeking applications from cooks who have experience and attributes, as follow:
- Chef / Cook role with food services experience
- Demonstrated ability to cook and prepare meals in line with dietary requirements and menu plans.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene, and infection control principles.
- Basic computer literacy, using a range of online systems.
- Proven ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, weekends and nights included *Please note there are no split shifts on roster
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of our team.
- Committed to a high level of patient centred care.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety and safe manual handling practices.
