Child Care Cleaner

We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Childcare Cleaner to join our team. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our centres.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Cleaner who will support multiple Mini Masterminds centres within the region. Your start time will be 4:00pm, and you will be required to travel to various locations, including Glenwood, Riverstone, Schofields, Tallawong and Box Hill.
You will help ensure our classrooms, play spaces and shared areas are welcoming, spotless and safe for children and educators.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Following daily and weekly cleaning schedules and checklists
• Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, playrooms, bathrooms, outdoor areas, reception and staff rooms
• Cleans including wiping tables and sweeping/mopping floors
• Restocking supplies such as paper towels, soap and cleaning products
• Ensuring surfaces, floors and equipment are free of dirt, dust and grime
• Managing waste disposal, including recycling and nappy disposal
• Supporting infection control and deep cleaning when required (e.g. illness outbreaks)
• Following all health and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For

• A current valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) – mandatory
• Availability Monday to Friday, starting from 4:00pm
• Willingness and ability to travel to centres across Glenwood, Riverstone, Schofields, Tallawong and Box Hill
• Previous cleaning experience in a school, early childhood service or commercial environment (essential)
• Knowledge of cleaning products, safe chemical handling and storage (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures
• Strong attention to Work Health and Safety
• Flexible, positive and proactive attitude
• Good communication skills
