About the role
ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified and experienced Chef to support the planning, preparation, handling, and storage of our residents’ meals at Flynn Lodge Aged Care facility in Alice Springs, with meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner services and snack options. This position is a permanent, full-time role and attracts a salary of $33.72 – $36.12 / hour gross.
This role would ideally suit a skilled chef who enjoys working in a multi-functional kitchen and likes to place a ‘personal’ touch on their meal design and preparation.
To be successful in this role, we will be looking at applications who hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Commercial Cooking and completion of the Food Handlers Certificate – 3.2.2A. In addition, you will have prior experience ideally working within Aged Care or, cooking for large volume and for consumers who have multiple dietary needs.
You will be comfortable working within an Aged Care facility and amongst the elderly.
