The role

Crown is the ultimate destination for elevated experiences, with a vast array of casual offerings to more premium settings. We're excited to share we have a new vibrant outdoor beer garden opening in February 2026 and we're seeking a Full time Supervisor to be part of this exciting new venue. 

The Bar Supervisor is responsible of managing the operations of the venue on a shift by shift basis in the absences of the Bar Manager/Assistant Bar Manager. The position plans, organises, schedules and allocates the tasks and activities of the team. The role also monitors and evaluates customer service levels and acts as an escalation point for frontline bar staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve escalated customer and business enquiries that cannot be resolved by team members.
• Manage the allocation of labour to meet operational needs.
• Coach, develop and guide team members.
• Ensure compliance of RSA provisions; work with associated teams to proactively manage disorderly/intoxicated patrons Ensure a high quality customer service in self and team members.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained by monitoring and undertaking rostering when required.
• Assist outlet management in the implementation of new and existing training initiatives and programs.

About you

• Proven experience working in a leadership role and managing bar operations
• A passion for customer service 
• Approved Managers license is required
• Established cocktail and wine knowledge
• Reliability and a trustworthy attitude
• Strong attention to detail through both service and menu knowledge.
• Full availability to work across a rotating roster of morning, daytime, and evening shifts

Additional Information

Venue operating hours:
Sunday - Thursday 11am - 10pm

Friday - Saturday 11am - 2am
