SWC Training is seeking experienced Trainers and Assessors to join our growing Western Australian delivery team. This role is ideal for VET professionals who are passionate about quality training, compliant assessment, and supporting learners across diverse industries and locations

This position involves delivery across Retail, Business and Cleaning qualifications, with regular travel required, including to regional and remote locations within Western Australia.

Due to continued growth in Western Australia, we are seeking Trainers & Assessors to support delivery across metropolitan, regional and remote locations requiring day trips.

About the Role

This role is responsible for delivering, assessing, and validating nationally recognised training in Retail, Business and Cleaning qualifications. Delivery will include a mix of workplace-based delivery, face-to-face training, and remote learning support, depending on learner and contract requirements.

You will play a key role in ensuring learners develop practical skills, industry knowledge, and employability outcomes, while maintaining strong compliance with the RTO Standards and funding requirements, and setting students up for a successful career in their chosen industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess nationally recognised training in Retail, Business and Cleaning qualifications in line with training package requirements
  • Facilitate engaging, industry-relevant training aligned to real workplace practices
  • Conduct workplace and practical assessments, ensuring evidence collected is valid, sufficient and authentic
  • Support learners to successfully complete their training while meeting employer and funding requirements
  • Maintain accurate training, assessment and student records in line with State Government funding rules and the RTO Standards
  • Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities
  • Work collaboratively with SWC Training staff, employers and industry partners
  • Travel to delivery locations across Western Australia, including regional and remote areas, as required
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required. While the role is part-time, the specific days of work will vary based on our students’ work schedules and site requirements.

  • SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality
  • SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail
  • BSB30120 Certificate III in Business
  • CPP30321 Certificate III in Cleaning Operations

About You

You will have:

  • Demonstrated industry experience in Retail, Hospitality, Business and/or Cleaning
  • Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing nationally recognised training
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Strong facilitation, communication and assessment skills
  • Sound knowledge of VET compliance and RTO standards
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Western Australia, including to remote locations
  • A commitment to high-quality training and positive learner outcomes
