With nearly 30 years of experience and a strong reputation in the industry, we’re a well-funded, dynamic company that embraces entrepreneurship and innovation. We believe in cutting through red tape to achieve growth and success, and we’re passionate about creating impactful events that truly make a difference. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas are valued and you can make a real impact, you’ll find your home at National Media.
The Opportunity
We’re building a practical, year-round content platform around our food, beverage and hospitality events and we’re looking for a hands-on Editor & Content Producer to bring it to life. This is a role for someone who loves creating high-value B2B content that helps real operators, buyers and suppliers make better commercial, operational and product decisions.
This isn’t a traditional newsroom or breaking-news job. It’s output-led and audience-first: interviews, guides, reports, buyer-facing explainers, trend pieces, practical operator content, show storytelling and sharply produced conference agendas that create genuine value before, during and after our events.
The portfolio is one of the most exciting in the Australian events landscape. It’s anchored by Food & Hospitality Week, bringing together the Restaurant & Foodservice Show, Pizza Pasta & Italian Food Show, RESTECH and the Cafe & Coffee Show, alongside Food & Hospitality Queensland and a growing suite of foodservice digital channels, including Restaurant Business.
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you’ll combine strong editorial judgement with conference production capability and real commercial acumen. Alongside producing content and event programs, you’ll lead the development of a digital commercialisation model for Restaurant Business and work hand-in-hand with the sales team — arming them with the audience data, content metrics and commercial packaging that turn editorial value into digital revenue, all without losing audience trust. You’ll also manage and develop the Production Manager, who supports across the event programming and Restaurant Business channels.
