About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a Casual Cleaner/Housekeeping to join our Accommodation Service team at our Moran Stockton home.

This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

We provide a welcoming and enjoyable work environment, with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to do excel in your role. Education specific to aged care is provided.

Key Duties:

• Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
• Clean allocated area that includes bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Follow cleaning schedule and complete records
• Replenish supplies and set up cleaning trolleys
• Identify and provide Infection Prevention & Control
• Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner
• Ensure the home is clean to high standards meeting safety, quality, and hygiene standards

Skills/Requirements:

• Dedicated to providing a high standard of care and service
• Ability to work in a team and engage positively with your colleagues
• Valid working visa
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
• Highly organised with strong planning skills.
